Dr. Tina Sadarangani is a prominent Ph.D.-prepared NYU professor and board-certified adult and geriatric nurse practitioner, specializing in healthy aging, age-tech, cognitive health, and long-term care.  Tina always felt she was on a rewarding professional path, having treated patients and their families throughout her career, but she never realized how much healthcare systems expect of their caregivers until her father developed end-stage renal disease. Dr. Sadarangani’s experience taking care of her father inspired her to create an award-winning mobile application, CareMobi, that helps families keep track of loved ones' day-to-day care and improve communication between caregivers and health providers for older adults. Dr. Sadarangani's dedication to empowering families also led to the creation of The Enlightened Caregiver, providing essential information and support to help families advocate for optimal care.
