Travis Demers has built a career in sports broadcasting that has taken him from a small town in New York to some of the biggest stages in Portland sports.After getting his start in radio and play-by-play while in college, Travis moved across the country to Oregon just three months after graduating, calling high school football and basketball games on the Oregon Coast for $50 a game. From there, he slowly worked his way up—from stringing Blazers games for $25 a night to radio, television, national broadcasting, and eventually becoming the full-time radio voice of the Portland Trail Blazers.But the journey wasn't always easy.
