Arias drove from California to Arizona, had sex with Alexander, took photos of him, then stabbed him 27 times and shot him in the head and cut his throat. Arias was arrested a month later. After testifying on the stand for 18 days, Arias was convicted in 2013. Dr. Ho, who did not work directly with Arias, covered the trial as an expert analyst for media.
