Behind the Silence | Update 1

from Inheritance of Silence

Visit: inheritanceofsilence.caHey friends, we just wanted to let you know what’s happening with our podcast, “Inheritance of Silence.” We know it’s been a bit quiet lately, but we’re still hard at work behind the scenes. This project has really taken us on some unexpected paths—some interviews opened up new storylines we couldn’t have predicted, so we’ve had to rethink and reshape a lot of what we had planned. We started out thinking we knew exactly where things were going, but as we dug deeper, some stories we thought would be front and center have actually moved into the background, and new voices and perspectives are taking on bigger roles. Honestly, it’s making the whole podcast richer and more alive, but it’s also meant more work for us!It’s just the two of us—Johan and Danika—handling everything from the writing, interviews, editing, and sound design, all while juggling our other work with CareImpact. As much as we’d love to give you a release date, we want to make sure we’re doing this right, and that means taking the time the story deserves. And remember, there are ways you can join us on this journey. We’re looking for voice actors willing to lend their voices to quotes and dramatized scenes, and we could really use help from sponsors or partners who believe in trauma awareness, healing, faith, and justice. If you want to help get the word out or join our launch team, we would absolutely love to have you on board! So thank you for your patience and support. We’re going to keep you updated, and we promise we won’t disappear on you—we’re in this together, and we care deeply about getting it right. If you want to connect or get involved, you can always find us at inheritanceofsilence.ca or on social media. Thanks for sticking with us!
