BEHOLD | Beholding God's Heart

When we behold, we engage with a deep connection. Rather than simply looking at someone or something, beholding is an invitation to see to the deepest parts. To sit with our full attention placed on the person or object in front of us. Beholding is a discipline that requires focus, intentionality, planning, and patience.During this series, we will be spending time learning to truly behold God. This means that we're not always requesting things or asking for what we need or want, but simply gazing at Him and His character. When we behold God, we expect nothing form Him except to spend time with Him. Some have called this "seeking God's face and not His hands". Our prayer for is that through these cards, you will engage with the God who loves you, formed you, and pours His heart out for you. Some of the practical ways we can engage with beholding God through the practices of fasting and prayer through silence and solitude.
