While all that’s required of you for salvation is to trust in Christ as your Lord and Savior, that isn’t an easy thing. It’ll cost you your pride and selfish ambition. When you choose to follow Him, He’ll lead you down a path that requires sacrifice, both for Him as well as the people around you. He provides freedom from sin, but the temptations won’t be removed. As Pastor Ken will explain in today’s message, this cost is too much for some who would rather cling to temporary pleasure and power.
