BEHOLD, THE GREAT CITY, THE HOLY JERUSALEM, will Descend out of heaven from God

Originally Aired 9/15/24. I had an interesting moment this morning as I was walking across the college campus. I was carrying my book bag that has the image of the Israeli flag. A student passed by me and quietly said, “FREE PALESTINE.” In that instant, I felt the weight of lies hit me, because this young, WHITE student had been SO PROGRAMMED with this lie, that it cannot easily be untangled with a quip in reply. Think about the ASSUMPTIONS EMBEDDED in the TWO WORDS of this Catch Phrase: FREE: To champion FREEING someone, is to BELIEVE they are CAPTIVES, PRISONERS, SLAVES, OPPRESSED. So there is naturally an oppressor. This assumption now flows freely around the world, in the streets, college campuses, in the Halls of government—our own electors representing ALL the people, and that PRESUMPTION in that ISRAEL is OPPRESSING—that is UNJUSTLY and for their OWN BENEFIT—the people in GAZA, to extend to other ARABS within its borders. Then the 2nd word and the NEXT PRESUMPTION: PALESTINE The “victims” of this OPPRESSION are now called PALESTINIANS, in order to suggest a centuries-long tie to the land that ISRAEL now UNJUSTLY has STOLEN from these “PEACEFUL” people. Now here’s and interesting CULTURAL APPROPRIATION. The term PALESTINE has referred to ISRAEL’s ANCIENT HOMELAND—the ONLY ANCIENT HOMELAND they have, where the entire BIBLE occurred—This term PALESTINE has meant the HOLY LAND since the ROMANS destroyed Jerusalem and took the Jews into captivity around the FIRST CENTURY.   Historically, the few ARABS who lived in PALESTINE were called by their ancestral names—GENARALLY EGYPTIANS, or wherever they came from, because it was NOT the HOMELAND of ARABS. It wasn’t until after the Arabs LOST the 6-Day WAR in 1967 that the Palestinian Liberation Organization was formed—headed by Yasser Arafat, an EGYPTIAN—that the Arabs started APPROPRIATING the term PALESTINIAN.   Moreover, we KNOW that this people of ARAB descent who call themselves PALESTINIANS for political deception, would NOT call themselves such a thing because it is NOT and ARAB WORD. The ARAB LANGUAGE does not even have a “P” in it. This is quite absurd.   Until AFTER WW 2, and GOD MOVED the Western nations to SHAME over their part in the Holocaust, and they PUSHED it through, in SPITE of the pledges to REJECT the return of their land, WHERE NO ARAB EVER CALLED it their ANSESTRAL HOME. And in 1948, against all odds, Israel not only declared themselves a sovereign nation, but they FENDED OFF the attacks of ALL THE SURROUNDING ARAB NATIONS to destroy them from becoming a people in their land again. And after the 2nd attack failed in 1967, of ALL THE SURROUNDING ARAB NATIONS who have 5 MILLION square miles of their OWN ANCIENT HOMELAND—after THIS attack failed, the ARABS CONSPIRED to change their tactic. They then started a lie. Now a 57 year old lie, easily debunked with historical facts and records. God gave us free will. He showed us the way of enjoying His gifts of Creation through the Bible, which demonstrated in creation, the law, and the prophets, that God wanted each person to live their autonomous life, of FREE WILL, property ownership, a heritage, and a future hope for each human.   This week, we continue to look at REV ch 21, and slow down to discuss The NEW JERUSALEM--the SPIRITUAL CITY of ZION.   Zion, the SPIRITUAL CITY OF GOD is mentioned 160 times in the Bible as an eternal promise to those who trust in Him. The first mention of Zion is when DAVID entered Jerusalem and took this section of the city. This has been God’s GOAL and Promise to His faithful  all along.
