Behold the Lamb

from Capital Vineyard Community Church · host Justin Kurtz

John the Baptist had a ministry preaching "repentance and baptism for the forgiveness of sins"...in preparation for the coming of the Messiah. That means he was preaching the forgiveness of sins before Jesus ever did anything. Is the message of repent, be baptized, and try real hard to live a good life, really what we are given in Christ if it's the same message John was preaching before the Messiah? Maybe we're missing something...maybe we have something better than that. Behold the Lamb of God who TAKES AWAY the sin of the world.
