'BEHOLD THE LAMB OF GOD....’ 2nd Sunday OT A

Send us Fan MailBrothers and sisters, when we meet someone for the first time, we make judgements whether or not we like them or want to associate ourselves with them based on the little information we have have about them, their demeanour, their behaviour and even their appearance. Sometimes we get it horribly wrong. Sometimes the person is not all that we thought they were – Or they are much more than we first assumed.  The double tragedy is that on the one hand we can be “taken in” and exploited in one case – Or we can dismiss someone of great integrity and value on the other hand. All the scriptures for today point to Jesus as someone who was infinitely more than what he appeared to be at first glance. We pray for the grace and humility to accept all as brothers and sisters as they are created in the image and likeness of God and temple of the Holy spirit. We pray today for our brothers and sisters who have died William Mcclafferthy, Helen Manka Fon, Mary, And for those who are sick and in hospital - Fr Bob Support the show
