Behold Your King, Day 11: The Star

In this episode of Behold Your King, we trace the ancient promise of a rising star from Jacob—foretold in Numbers 24—to the quiet home of a young virgin in Nazareth. When the angel Gabriel greets Mary and reveals God’s plan, the long-awaited ruler who will reign over the house of Jacob forever is conceived. This child, the Word made flesh, is the one destined to crush the enemies of God—not merely earthly foes, but Satan, sin, and death itself. Mary’s faithful response, “Let it be to me according to your word,” stands as a model of trust in the God who brings His promises to completion.
