Beijing Bound #23 - Gregor Ewan

from Anything but Footy · host Anything but Footy

Unless you've been hiding under a bush for the past few weeks, Great Britain won a gold, silver and grabbed a 4th place in all of the 3 Curling events at the Beijing Olympics. Now Wheelchair Curling takes centre stage at the Paralympics - with the mixed team of Hugh Nibloe (Skip), David Melrose, Gregor Ewan, Meggan Dawson-Farrell & Gary Smith (alternate). At the Opening Ceremony of Beijing 2022, Gregor carried with union flag with debutant Meggan in third Paralympics, and he told us he wants to return to bronze medal form at least at these Games, after winning that eight years ago. This is Beijing Bound from Anything but Footy - the series focusing on the 2022 Winter Paralympics in China. *NB This podcast was recorded before the Russian invasion of Ukraine and subsequent banning of RPC and Belarus athletes* Hosted on Acast.
