Being Black in “Asian Medicine”

A young Black woman considering studying Traditional Chinese Medicine asked me about my experience as a Black acupuncturist. This question has come up many times as many people have not encountered Black practitioners. This episode does not reflect my total experience after 11 years, so I may return to this topic in a later episode. For now, here is a brief response to the question.
