Being Brave with Cath Turner
from Women in Safety Podcast Hosted by Women in Safety Podcast
Brief summary of the episode: This episode is packed with inspiration! Cath Turner started her HSE career by accident in Scotland and got to pick the brains of Lord Cullen (Piper Alpha) in her first year! Upon moving home to Australia Cath continued her health and safety career in construction and mining and was often the only female in the team or on site. Cath has advocated often for herself but in turn, created generational change for women working on site after her. Cath believes she uses her coaching, advising, and leadership to work across multiple disciplines and loves bringing the best out in her team. One piece of advice she has for the next generation is not fake it until you make it but be BRAVE until you can make it! Say yes to those opportunities! Tune in for a hugely inspiring and transformational conversation!
