Being distracted

I was very late in recording today's Devotional as I had been distracted by doing housework which I suddenly felt like doing. How many times do we ignore God and get on with our own thing, however good it might be? He wants us to put Him first in our day and in our activities. By having God behind our day and activities we will be blessed. The devotional yesterday reminded us of David first acknowledging God in his life and then going forth to meet the giant Goliath who he ultimately defeated. Let's not ignore God who we need in our lives. The devil is constantly out to destroy us and Jesus wants to protect us and provide for us abundantly on a daily basis. (See John 10:10).
