Being falsely accused

I find it so difficult being falsely accused and being misunderstood. Jesus is our example on how to achieve peace in the midst of false accusations and misunderstanding, however major, and His certainly were. I so want to get to that point of no longer needing to be always understood, wanting to explain and defend myself. "When they hurled their insults at him, he did not retaliate; when he suffered, he made no threats. Instead, he entrusted himself to Him who judges justly". (1 Peter 2:23)
