Our idea of discipleship is going to church, reading our Bible, and giving an offering. We like a convenient, comfortable Christianity that fits with our life. Jesus radically flips our idea of discipleship on its head and says it’s all about complete and total commitment.   In this third of five messages for a series called "He Said What? The Shocking Statements of Jesus" based on Luke 14:25-33 Jesus teaches what biblical discipleship is all about. This sermon was preached at Heritage Lutheran Church in Gilbert, Arizona by Pastor Aaron Bublitz on September 29, 2019.
