Being Muslim in Fiji - Brother Farmaan

from Big Muslim Family Podcast · host Brother Mark Adam

Assalaamu Alaikum Brother and Sisters! In this week's episode, I speak with Brother Farmaan from Fiji. Those that have been keen listeners to the show will know that that the inspiration for the whole podcast was because I met with a Muslim brother from Fiji sometime last year. So I really really wanted to find another brother from Fiji to speak on the show. After a bit of a search, I found brother Farmaan who was an admin of a Fiji Muslim Facebook group, and he said that he would help me out with this episode. Some of the questions I ask him in this interview. How did Islam make its way over there? What was it like growing up Muslim in Fiji? What are the masjids like? How what kind of Halal food is available? What do they get a lot of converts there? What are some of the things to do in Fiji?
