Being Spiritual

from Ethereal Material · host Priscilla & Carla

Send us Fan MailPriscilla and Carla discuss what it means -- and doesn't mean -- to be "spiritual." No longer strictly applied to traditional faith practices, being "spiritual" has now come to mean recognzing one's own connection to a greater source, to Life, to a Creator, even to a Higher Self, and engaging in developing a deeper awareness of or relationship to something beyond ourselves. But beware: some "spiritual" follks out there use this label to bypass personal responsibility. We'd love to hear your thoughts on our podcast!

His works are studied in-depth in all yeshivot today and he is widely considered the father of modern Talmudic analysis. The only work he wrote was his chiddushim (insights) on the Rambam's halachic rulings, which is considered a classic of Talmudic analysis.
