We do not have to sit still to practice meditation. However, practicing stillness can teach us invaluable lessons. By being still, we learn to separate ourselves from our physical sensations, our thoughts and emotions. We learn to observe them. We learn to chose if and how to react to them. So today, find a quiet place to sit still for a few minutes...and notice the effects of stillness on your day 🧘
