Her brainchild, Lady Bits Comedy, is a monthly all-women’s show dedicated to providing support, stage time, and an amazing venue for the talented female comedians in our area including the upcoming show this Friday, August 7th , headlined by the hilarous Kendrea James, with tickets only $10! In addition to these outstanding events for the ladies, Ann also produces “The Early Weekend Show” once a month, typically on a Thursday (hence the name!). This showcase features performers of all genders and promises a stacked lineup of comedy you won’t want to miss if you’re in the area with the next event taking place Thursday, August 20th at Belafonte!I had a great time chatting with Ann as she breaks down her reasons for getting into the comedy scene, her admiration for what we do as comics, and even where she sees Lady Bits Comedy in 5 years! It was absolutely fascinating discussing not only her background and history in the restaurant industry, but how she applies the tools and skills developed in that field, to the world of stand up comedy and booking these shows!
