Being the Daughter of a Lineage of Home Birthing Afghan Women

from The Natural Birth Podcast · host Sacred Birth International

Today on The Natural Birth Podcast we have Sabrina. Sabrina is now a mama of 2, but at the time of this recording she was still pregnant with her second.  In this episode we will therefor only hear about her first home birth.  However I can report the second one was also an empowering natural home birth.  Maybe we need to get her back on the podcast to share about that soon too. Sabrina lives on a farm in west Colorado, but her heritage is from Afghanistan and she comes from a lineage of home birthing women. So when Sabrina fell pregnant, birthing at home and birthing naturally was a given. She’s a nurse, and an avid supporter of empowering birth, especially after her own empowering experience which we will hear all about in this episode.
