Being Vulnerable

from Horse Hippie’s Morning Mantras · host Horse Hippie

Morning Mantra: “What we know matters, but who we are matters most.”Being, rather than knowing, requires us to show up authentically, letting ourselves be vulnerable and open.  You can think you know “it all” and still not be knowable so deep, true connections are impossible. To someone that uses their head more than their heart the thought of being vulnerable can be scary.  Vulnerability requires us to stop over thinking and to let go.  To not control our feelings like we control our thoughts. But, being real requires openness, the risk of hurt, and allowing others to see their soul in ours.Vulnerability is not a weakness.  It requires bravery, it requires you to risk rejection when you show your true self.   It's so much easier to protect yourself and present the delusion of perfection to others than to reveal yourself. But there can be no real connection, no authentic relationships without your truth.#BeOpenAndReal #BeHappy #BeHorsey #BeHippie #HorseHippie #MorningMantra #WordsToInspire #InspirationalQuotes #HorseHippieBoutique #SmallBusinessOwner #WomenOwned #HorseHippieBoutiqueQuote:  Brene’ Brown
