Bek started out singing and writing songs in a little Methodist Church in the heart of the Appalachian Mountains. She has been performing with bands such as Kevin & Bek and Second Street Revival for over 10 years. Teamed with longtime songwriting partner Kevin Harmon, Bek writes honest songs about life, love, and heartache that come from the real life experiences of growing up deep in the heart of the Bible Belt. Along with husband Tim Smallwood, they make up Bek and the Starlight Revue. A band that is equally at home delivering reverb drenched rock n roll and Sunday morning soul.
