Believe or Not Believe: Trade Rumors Surrounding the Carolina Hurricanes

The Carolina Hurricanes, in recent days, have been linked to possible players they could acquire via trade. Between Pierre LeBrun and Elliotte Friedman, is there any validity to the rumors? Also, should the Hurricanes be in on these players involved?
