Believe... Patience

Believe... Patience Patience is never required when life is flowing smooth like silk. Only when something stands between me and my desires, is this fruit of the Spirit required. Patience is more than just waiting. It is waiting without complaining while in a state of discomfort.  This may involve self-control, humility and even generosity--a complex of godly virtues. When we are impatient with others--their attitude, their getting ahead faster than us, their actions that irk us--have we CONSIDERED them? Their needs? Struggles? Do I see that God is at work in others? I cannot change anyone..ONLY God can. Jesus sees us both as we are AND as we yet will be. God's great patience is aimed squarely at us.  Don't be surprised that you are required to wait, but believe that God is actively working...in you and in others. Practice the discipline of patience.
