We are given delegated authority but we don’t have authority over God. As believers, we serve each other and the Lord. We should do so with confidence and the authority that comes with knowing they are doing God’s work. We are not made gods equal to our Heavenly Father or above Him to command Him. Even Jesus, who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped. Believers have some authority over some things, not everything all the time. We also discuss what Believer’s Authority isn’t and the blasphemy promulgated by the Word of Faith movement.
