Bell Leads Comeback, Defense Flips Switch | Spokane News

Eastern Washington stunned Northern Iowa with a gritty 34-24 comeback win, powered by quarterback Nate Bell’s dazzling performance—accounting for all five touchdowns and totaling 351 yards. The defense struggled in the first half, surrendering three rushing TDs, but flipped the script after halftime, shutting down Northern Iowa completely and forcing a missed field goal. Coach Aaron Best credited the second-half surge to renewed intensity, and Bell capped it off with a game-sealing drive. With their record now 1-1, EWU heads on the road next week to face No. 11 South Dakota. Listen in comfort:Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
