Combine the flour, cinnamon, salt & sugar in a small bowl. Stir into the egg mixture. Let stand 30 minutes. Combine the honey & nutmeg in a small bowl.Heat 1/2-inch of the oil in a frying pan until hot, but not smoking. Drop the batter into the oil 1 tablespoon at a time; fry until golden brown. Drain on paper towels. Dip into the honey.Amanda H's Applesauce5 lbs of gala apples cored not peeled5-10 dates2 cans of crushed pineapple in pineapple juice2 tbs cinnamon1 tbs vanilla extract.Cook overnight on low in a slow cooker and then blend with an immersion blender. C&H brand calls it 'Baker's Sugar'--it's the ultrafine stuff)150ml (5 fl oz) milka pinch of salta little extra flour1. sift the flour into a bowl and add the butter. Mix by rubbing your hands through the mixture until the butter and flour make small clumps.2. add the sugar and salt and then add the milk a little at a time, mixing with a knife. Knead into a soft dough with floured hands. Don't fuss with the dough for too long! (3. turn out onto floured surface and roll to a 3/4 inch thickness. Cut out the scones and place on a greased baking sheet.
