Ben Annand - DISTRIKT Music - Episode 182

2018 was my first Burn in 11 years and it was so great to be back! A lot has changed since my very first in 1999 yet a lot stays the same... For example, on my last trip to BRC in 2007 the best daytime party on the Playa was called the Deep End and in 2018 it was called DISTRIKT - but guess what? Same party 🙂 Playing this daytime set on Saturday on the huge DISTRIKT system I couldn’t help but have fun, and danced straight through Aaron Jacob’s birthday set after. People really were having way too much fun here, and it was great to participate in that! Musically this is a deep house set which stays groovy and funky in the daytime heat, notching up energy gradually but staying appropriate to the time.
