It’s been about a month since I put a set out on Soundcloud, today I am happy to present my set from Believe You Me in Portland, Oregon April 10. Believe You Me is Portland’s hottest new little house party, and this was my second appearance there. With capacity at just 100-150, it attracts a quality crowd which reminds me both of my heyday in Portland playing small underground parties in the early 2000s, as well as my own beloved small party in Los Angeles, Tropical. Musically the party is a chance to explore the deeper sounds of house and tech-house, and I played a few tracks here which I really love but have difficulty working into other sets.
