Ben Ashmole

from TradeMutt Radio · host TradeMutt

Ben Ashmole is the creative director and cofounder at connect creative media with a passion for telling stories, connecting people and growing businesses. Ben is also a really great mate of TradeMutt and the TIACS foundation having crossed paths with Ed and I on a number of occasions and now taking the reigns helping us produce this very podcast. Every time Ben comes into our office, he will catch us just as we are taking a deep dive into another philosophical topic around mental health and TradeMutt as a business. We always get carried away together in some incredibly insightful conversation and so we figured that it was only right that we record a conversation together. Hailing from Manchester, England, Ben had a crack at becoming a professional footballer, however when his dream didn’t come to fruition, a search for self and identity took Ben on a journey that many young men have experienced before him. However Ben’s openness in sharing his experiences is what sets him apart form many. This conversation takes a ride through topics from our own business, TradeMutt, to things like the impact of diet on our health, Bens experience of mental health and anxiety, to what it’s like to have an awesome experience through therapy with a few funny yarns about sleep walking slipped in there as well.
