Ben Bohemier | Taiga Mushrooms | Fungal Catalogue of NWO | 337 | thamichaelated Ben Bohemier joins us toniiiiiiight in THA schtudio as we talk about all things mushrooms and fungi especially in Northwest Ontario. Ben completed his undergraduate degree and jumped right into a masters of forestry where he specializes and researches several different types of fungi. One of his favourite is the Chaga Mushroom. Ben has always been interested in nature and loved hiking and learning about different plants and fungi from an early age. He was fascinated by the fungi kingdom and the enormous diversity that exists in it. Ben also spoke about a theory where it is believed that fungi and cosmic spores started life on Earth as we know it. He is currently researching how fungi grow and reproduce so effectively in nature. Ben has tremendous knowledge about his field and manages to explain it really well to his audience especially when he organizes guided tours in the woods. We also spoke about 'The Last of Us' and if that actually could be a reality and Ben had amazing insights into the matter and gave a detailed answer into his belief as well. ZOMBIE ANT FUNGI !
