Ben Lewis addresses the June 26th Online Communist Forum on the little explored paper Die Gleichheit, its role in the women's movement in Germany and the Second International as well as its legacy for communists today. Comrade Lewis has written a number of articles for the Weekly Worker (https://weeklyworker.co.uk/worker/authors/ben-lewis/) and has authored several books (https://communistparty.co.uk/resources/library/ben-lewis/). He is currently heading the 'Marxism Translated' project (https://marxismtranslated.com/) that aims to first-time translations of classical texts of German Marxism.
