One of the guest artists featured during the Roots and Reason concert series is Mississippi Delta blues guitarist Ben Payton. Payton spent years on the Chicago blues scene, playing with artists such as Eddie Shaw and Junior Wells. After returning to his home state of Mississippi, Payton reunited with his Delta-style blues roots. "Boogie Child" is from his latest release, Diggin' Up Old Country Blues.
