Ben Rand - Ice Sculptor
from Modern Romantic Hosted by Modern Romantic
Ice isn’t just frozen water—it’s an art form. In this episode, we sit down with Ben Rand, a World Champion, Olympic Gold Medalist, and USA & Canadian National Champion Ice Sculptor. With nearly 20 years of experience, Ben transforms blocks of ice into breathtaking works of art, pushing the limits of design, craftsmanship, and creativity. We dive into his journey from competitor to professional sculptor, the challenges of working with such an ephemeral medium, and the magic of creating something that exists only for a fleeting moment.
