Labor Secretary Alex Acosta gave a press conference on Wednesday regarding his conduct as prosecutor during billionaire pedophile Jeffrey Epstein’s “sweetheart deal.” Acosta has no plans to resign and claims that the terms of the deal were harsher than they might have been and that his intentions were to help Epstein’s victims avoid the courtroom “victim shaming” so prevalent at the time.
