Movie friends, we are here with another episode and this one is special. Like, finally learning to backwards roller skate, special. This episode’s movie is our first REQUEST! We are very humbled and giddy to have been asked to do a movie by a friend of the show and what a movie. As if Toby Jones wasn’t weird an ingredient enough, we have…well the rest of Berberian Sound Studio….a film about a man desperately trying to get reimbursed for a flight. In this episode, we discuss the show’s first connection to what we hear is a popular television show, Friends, Todd shows us how he can “go all night”, Ryan celebrates character actors once again and shames himself quoting Highlander 2, we ponder whether a movie can cause you to smell it, the Catalonian Fim Fest comes up yet again, we honor Billy Zane, although he has nothing to do with this film, we pre-suppose what a Rock and Vin Diesel-style feud would look like between us and face the age old question: What do you do with a dangerously aroused goblin?
