Bereshit/Genesis 1/929

Welcome to 929, where I, Karen-Lynn along with many other jews around globe begin a 3.5 year cycle of reading the Tanach. It is very exciting! We are starting today February 6, 2022/ 5th of Adar I, 5782 Tanach is an is abbreviation of Torah, Neveim, and Ketuvim. The Tanach has 929 chapters, hence the name 929. I will be reading it all straight in English (from the Slager edition, it has some edits but much smoother to read from). This time I’m doing a little introduction but in the future I hope to just dive in. Without further ado, good luck to us all… let’s begin! *I may make mistakes a long the way, sorry*
