Berglund Loans Himself to Sweden | Philadelphia Flyers News

Flyers loan young star Jack Berglund to Färjestad BK for the full 2026-27 season, giving him a shot at more ice time and playoff glory — all while keeping his future with Philly alive. Berglund, who already lit up Sweden’s World Junior Championship with 10 points and helped them win gold, is seen as a top-two-way forward with NHL upside. His decision to stay in Sweden was his own, and it uses up his first year of his entry-level deal. Meanwhile, fellow prospect Jack Nesbitt remains sidelined by college commitments at Michigan, leaving both players off the Rookie Series radar — but squarely on the Flyers’ long-term development radar.
