Berlin Marathon | Spear Podcast

from Spear Podcast · host Sean Spear

In today’s solo episode, I’m sharing my experience running the 2024 Berlin Marathon—a journey that began back in 2018 when I first visited Berlin and knew I wanted to run it someday.  After months of training, dealing with a foot injury and IT band issues, I wasn’t sure how the race would go, but I ended up finishing with a time that exceeded my original goal. Over 60,000 people ran that day, and the energy and support from the crowd were unforgettable.  In this episode, I talk about the highs and lows of training, my tips for running a marathon, and how sometimes the mindset of "just doing it" is all you need. Plus, a fun little story about losing my bib and still being able to race.  Tune in for all the details and lessons learned from one of the most impactful experiences I’ve had. Want to see more?
