this episode was recorded before blowing up, so some of our recent reflexions about our approach and platform weren’t there yet. that being said, come laugh with us as we try to talk about not-so-heavy-topics (spoiler alert: we failed!) - we recalled our sweet and sour first time memories in Berlin: ordering our first döner (auf deutsch!), Fran’s first ever ‘cacao ceremony’ and Dira’s kink discovery after their okcupid first date! andddd yes, we unwillingly ended up talking about unpleasant but hilarious experiences with some political depth of course! it definitely helped us to feel lighter despite the heaviness of living in berlin, so enjoy (:- hosted by dira @dirandrakala & fran @ilzilu- equipment & production @imgnrybx| 📻 about woke-ish talk- hiii we're Dira & Fran 🫰🏽 we both have a distant past as media producers back when we were younger: Dira as MTV host and radio announcer in Indonesia, and Fran as a youth cultural journalist in Nicaragua. life took us in many directions before crossing paths in Berlin (divine timing✨, as we say) and we've now decided to go back to cultural production, now in our own terms, with this radio show in which talk about hot and silly stuff, with heart and in style* - follow along!| 📺 about imaginary box- as of now, imaginary box is a production platform that facilitates the exchange of information, media-making resources, equipment and technical skills among trans and/or racialised cultural producers, supporting our efforts to build creative and economic autonomy so that we can reclaim self-determined representation in media and history#berin #queer #trans #politics #gender
