Best Friend of Fallen Soldier Shir Eilat

20 year old Shir Eilat, a commander in the Israeli army was on duty, guarding Kibbutz Nachal Oz when she and most of her unit’s female soldiers were killed by Hamas terrorist on October 7th. Shir means “song” in Hebrew. Her family & community are determined to continue to keep Shir’s magnetic spirit alive so that her song will play forever. Lior Lifshitz joins me to talk about her beloved best friend and shares some of their beautiful memories.
