Best of Techno 2023 Edition

Hey Techno Tribe, I hope you enjoy my special four-hour journey through the Best of Techno 2023. As we revel in this yearly ritual, I want to share some insights about the incredible artists who've graced this mix. This year's lineup is a vibrant tapestry of techno talent. We start with Rebuke's 'Glow,' a track that perfectly sets the tone with its energetic beats. Following up, Zimmz's 'Qualia' and Danny Avila's 'Chase The Sun' add unique layers of intensity and rhythm. ANDATA's 'Concentrate' and the collaboration between Adam Beyer and Green Velvet on 'Simulator' showcase the depth and diversity of techno. The remix of Planetary Assault Systems by Adam Beyer & Wehbba, and Beyer's solo 'Legend' offer a glimpse into the evolving nature of techno. Layton Giordani's 'Phantom' and the collaboration of Heerhorst, Teenage Mutants, and Peter Pahn on 'Dark Clouds' reflect the dynamic range of the genre. We also dive into Victor Ruiz, Mha Iri, Mark Porter, and Lilly Palmer, each bringing their unique essence to the mix. UMEK, Maddix, and Charlotte de Witte's tracks are a nod to the powerful influence of these artists in the techno scene. As for my contributions, including two tracks that charted in the top 10 this year, it is a thrill. Being a part of this vibrant community and contributing to the sound that defines us is an honor. The mix also features the likes of Thomas Schumacher, Ramon Tapia, Belocca, Marie Vaunt, and Eli Brown, each artist adding their unique flavor to this diverse collection. The energy continues with tracks from artists like Space 92, Bart Skils, Raxon, Drunken Kong, and Green Velvet. We journey through the imaginative remixes of Royksopp and the original vibes of Wehbba, UMEK, SAM WOLFE, Pleasurekraft, Joyhauser, and many more. The mix slows down with &ME's 'L.I.F.E,' a track that sums it up. I hope this mix connects you deeper with the artists behind these tracks.
