Our desire for this series is that each week we would share one thing that the Bible says about itself. Some wins would be an increased appetite, appreciation, and understanding of the Bible. The author of Hebrews teaches us that the Bible is living and active. They say that it pierces your soul and judges the contents of your heart. This means that the Bible reads us just as we read the Bible. Share with listeners that the Bible is useful for self-reflection and to increase our self-awareness. If we can read it with open minds and open hearts, God will hold the Bible up to our lives as a mirror and use it to show us how to live. Hebrews 4:12 NIV 12 For the word of God is alive and active. Ask yourself “how is the Bible reading you?” What is God growing you in? Where would you like him to grow you?
