Our guest this week on Episode 8 of the BETA CONVO podcast with host Yomi Omogbeja is the current African 100m record-holder (9.85 secs) and  2008 World Athletics Indoor 60m champion (6.51 secs), Olusoji Fasuba from Nigeria.  Mr Fasuba, now retired from the sport, is a fully qualified Logistics officer with the HM British Royal Navy. He bemoans the lack of support and ill-treatment of athletes, the constant in-fighting among administrators and officials, and also reiterates the need to merge the sport and entertainment industry in Nigeria to increase investments into the sports sector.
