Beta Test & The Fine Art of The Movie Fight Scene w/Yuji Okumoto & Linden Ashby

Meanwhile on Saturday Morning Cereal...Take some time this week to remember your original happy hour: Saturday mornings as a kid, waking up at dawn, jumping on the couch with a bowl of chocolate cereal, turning on the ‘toons, tuning out the outside world, and working your way into a sugar hangover before noon. This week, we try to figure out what it takes to film the longest single take fight scene in movie history. Why do we care? Because we're talking about Beta Test (Avail now on Amazon), a movie which currently holds the record for the longest single take fight scene in movie history! That's no small feat, so we celebrate that and other all time greatest movie fist-a-cuffs with guests who have lived through a few of those epic movie fights, including Yuji Okumoto (Karate Kid Part II's "Chozen", Better Off Dead, Beta Test) & Linden Ashby (Mortal Kombat's "Johnny Cage", Wyatt Earp, MTV's Teen Wolf, Beta Test) and writer and director Nicholas Gyeney (Beta Test, The Penitent Man) to tell us how it all went down. And how well do you remember that Chozen vs. Daniel-san final battle in Karate Kid, Part II? Because we're sweeping the leg of a 30 year old memory as we try to walk you through that epic fight plus a few more walks down the old movie fight lane. Thank you free filtered HBO! Hosted by Grim Shea and Marke. Rated NSFW.
