On this episode of the Nine Finger Chronicles, Dan has an awesome conversation with Jeremy Yates about not starting to hunt until he was 38. Jeremy talks about being invited to hunt with a friend during the Missouri gun season and instantly falling in love with the sport.Jeremy talks about the usual lessons and failures that a new hunter endures throughout their first couple seasons as well as how he went from solely using a gun to picking up the bow. He admits that, like most of us, he is now a full blown bow addict.Lastly, Jeremy shares insight in to the importance of physical fitness when preparing for any hunting season. He has been a personal trainer for several years and walks us through some recommendations on what you can do to be physically prepared for hunting for a western trip or just sitting in a treestand.
