Better Podcasting is back with the premiere of Season 4 of Better Podcasting - and we're shaking up the format! In this episode we'll begin by explaining some of the changes that you can expect to see going forward with Better Podcasting and we'll answer what is happening with the Better Podcasting: Live Chat show. In the debut of a new segment that we're calling the Better Podnerings, we'll recap what we did during our scheduled holiday break (and whether we think we want to do it again this year), transcripts now being supported on Apple Podcasts and Spotify having a Read-A-Long service, Zoomcorp creating an Essentials line, Spotify exclusives going away and we think there's a couple recent TikTok trends that podcasters can learn from. For the debut of the theme for this season's featured segment - we'll chronicle the criteria we'll be looking at as we evaluate media hosts during our quest to migrate away from Libsyn.
