Better Together with Barbara Scully
from The Make Learning Magical Podcast Hosted by Tisha Richmond
In this episode I chat with Barbara Scully, an innovative Family and Consumer Science Educator from the state of Washington. She is passionate about boldly celebrating family and careers by providing inspiration, support, and resources for teachers, students, and families. She is the creator of the ConnectFCSEd website and podcast and is on a mission to let the world know that Family and Consumer Science and Home Economics is alive and well! She shares the power of family and consumer science education and the joys and struggles of teaching during a pandemic. Barbara shares straight from the heart in this real and raw episode. After this episode, Barbara and I decided to start a live happy hour chat once a week for Family and Consumer Science educators that will be streamed to Youtube and the Gamifying Family and Consumer Science group on Facebook. It will air every Tuesday night at 4:30PST. Join us for light-hearted and joyful conversation.
