Beverley Gilmour, MA – A Life Shattered, Paused and Reclaimed

Air Date - 22 October 2025Beverley Gilmour is a children’s book author, founder of Merlinus Publishing, and is currently doing doctoral research to attain a PhD in the study of human consciousness. In 1992, Beverley became a victim of violent rape, surviving a severe traumatic brain injury that led to 30 years of extended states of altered consciousness. Her heartbeat would stop, and her consciousness would separate from her body, resulting in a state of being flatlined called ‘Actual Death Experiences’ [ADEs]. She could have ended her life, but she chose her love and commitment to her three young children as well as her desire to understand ADE’s to keep her strong and continuing.
